St Matthew's Community Hoops brings free, drop-in basketball sessions to the heart of the community this summer. Delivered by Leicester Riders Foundation and supported by Leicester Community Safety Partnership, these sessions offer young people a safe, welcoming space to be active, make friends, and build confidence. No experience or kit required, just turn up and join in. Whether you're picking up a ball for the first time or you're a regular baller, everyone's welcome on the court.

  • Is pre-booking required?
    • Yes, all tickets are required to be pre-booked. Tickets cannot be purchased at the session.
  • I have booked a ticket but I can no longer attend. Can I transfer my ticket?
    • Unfortunately, tickets are non-transferable.
  • The date I want to attend is not listed or there is no 'BOOK NOW' button. Can I come to the session?
    • Unfortunately, this means that the session is not running or is sold out. Please do not come to the session to avoid disappointment.
  • Can I stay to watch the session?
    • Yes, spectators are permitted at all weekly sessions for children under the age of 18.
  • Can I take photos?
    • No unauthorised photography is permitted.
